The Search Goes On  - Released 1997

The Search Goes On features lyric driven songs inspired by the stories and of interesting people I’ve encountered over the years as well as stories and reflections from my own experiences.  The record has a country folk flavor to it with some beautiful and well placed cello, violin, lap steel, harmonica, and light percussion that accompanies my acoustic guitar and vocals.  I always tell people this recording is best appreciated when first listened to in one sitting.  There’s a thread that runs through and connects the songs that makes the overall recording an entity unto itself as opposed to just a collection of individual songs.  Lyrics and
and short song descriptions are provided in the CD booklet and reading along adds to the overall experience.

No Way Out But Through – Released 2007

No Way Out But Through features strong story songs that reflect a sense of both coming to terms with lifes harsher truths while somehow holding on to a sense of hope and wonder inspite of it all.  Musically this record appeals to a wide listener base as it not only tells interesting stories and offers thoughtful perspectives but it also has more of an up tempo folk/rock flavor to it.  With strong bass lines and solid drumming there is also beautiful piano, organ, lead guitar, harmonica and percussion accompaniment.  It took ten years to finally record another CD after The Search Goes On but the end result is worth the wait.

MP3’s of previously unreleased tracks!

Burning a candle for the good old days, it’s just the waste of a good flame
Blazing a trail towards a better day, it’s the only way, we’ve gotta live these days
From “Hard to be Happy”

Trying to find a reason why I should keep believing
In those crazy dreams I held close yesterday
Somewhere in the daily fight, what once was wrong somehow is right
Ends justify the means the cynic would say
But I’m trying not to live my life that way

From “That Way

No matter where you run to…
There’s no way out but through.
